Hyundai officially unveils the first image renderings of the All-New Genesis coming possibly towards the end of 2014.
The original Genesis was launched in 2009 which incorporated Hyundai’s unique design philosophy ‘Fluidic Sculpture’. Taking the Genesis to the next level will be the evolution of the Fluidic Sculpture called Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. While keeping with the original essence, Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 is defined by core elements: “Simple and harmonious design with refined fluidic design elements, modern Hyundai look with a singular hexagonal grille, easy-to-understand and pleasant design and rich visuotactile color, material and finishing of the car.”
With that in mind, the all-new Genesis sports a premium sedan look, a new hexagonal shaped grille emphasizes the front, while the fluidic body lines complete the side and a high-tech, sculpted design finishes the rear.
As far as performance, look for the same engine configurations (V6 and V8) with a possible bump in horsepower. The new Genesis will also be equipped with Hyundai’s all-wheel drive system called “HTRAC”. A feature of the HTRAC system will allow drivers to select driving modes for a more tailored driving experience.
Hyundai has been vigorously testing this all-wheel drive system at locations around the world and expects their customers to feel world-class safety and driving performance in the all-new Genesis equipped with this all-wheel drive system.
With all the success Hyundai has had since 2009, they are looking continue the upward trend and rock the automotive world again!
Can’t wait to see the real deal!
