Here’s some new spy photos of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis possibly making it’s debut at the Detriot Auto Show in January!
As you can see, the All-New Genesis is sporting a more chiseled look departing from the current models smoother body lines. We also see, in a magnified photo of the rear, this Genesis is equipped with Hyundai’s AWD traction control called HTRAC and using a 3.8 liter V6 engine (G380/HTRAC badging). Along with a host of great technology and safety features, it looks like the All-New Genesis will also sport a panoramic roof.
We’ll keep an eye out for some interior photos as soon as they become available.

Hyundai officially unveils the first image renderings of the All-New Genesis coming possibly towards the end of 2014.
The original Genesis was launched in 2009 which incorporated Hyundai’s unique design philosophy ‘Fluidic Sculpture’. Taking the Genesis to the next level will be the evolution of the Fluidic Sculpture called Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. While keeping with the original essence, Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 is defined by core elements: “Simple and harmonious design with refined fluidic design elements, modern Hyundai look with a singular hexagonal grille, easy-to-understand and pleasant design and rich visuotactile color, material and finishing of the car.”
With that in mind, the all-new Genesis sports a premium sedan look, a new hexagonal shaped grille emphasizes the front, while the fluidic body lines complete the side and a high-tech, sculpted design finishes the rear.
As far as performance, look for the same engine configurations (V6 and V8) with a possible bump in horsepower. The new Genesis will also be equipped with Hyundai’s all-wheel drive system called “HTRAC”. A feature of the HTRAC system will allow drivers to select driving modes for a more tailored driving experience.
Hyundai has been vigorously testing this all-wheel drive system at locations around the world and expects their customers to feel world-class safety and driving performance in the all-new Genesis equipped with this all-wheel drive system.
With all the success Hyundai has had since 2009, they are looking continue the upward trend and rock the automotive world again!
Can’t wait to see the real deal!

Hyundai and Bisimoto Engineering are no strangers to one another. They partnered last year converting a 1.8 liter 148 horse 2013 Elantra GT into a fire breathing 600 horsepower beast for the 2012 SEMA auto show. So it only makes sense for the two companies to collaborate again for this years show.
For the 2013 SEMA show, which starts November 5th in Las Vegas, Hyundai and Bisimoto is rolling out another masterpiece this time leveraging the proven durability of Hyundai factory-based 3.8-liter V6 engine and modifying it to create a 1,000hp 2013 turbocharged Genesis Coupe. The Bisimoto concept is designed for the reliability of a street car but with a “little” extra power.
Complementing all the work done under the hood, Bisimoto created a custom Electric Blue paint, Denmatic design graphics package, ARK hood and Carbon Fiber decklid. From the rear view, a Burns stainless exhaust and Bisimoto rear badge round out the visual impact.
If you’re going to visit SEMA this year stop by the Hyundai/Bisimoto booth and check this car out!

SCHWING!!! Feast your eyes on the new 2014 Mercedes Benz S63 AMG and I’m pretty sure you’ll have those same feelings! Already a beautiful car in its normal aspiration, Mercedes yet again stepped up to the plate and launched this iteration of the S63 over the ball park AMG style.
Hot, sexy and powerful exterior (Wow, I’m starting to sound like Bruno from Dancing with the Stars…yes I watch it)…Mercedes is making it tough to say no. One look at the interior and your gonna want to get inside and take it for a ride.
The 2014 S63 AMG will be powered by a handcrafted 5.5L V8 Biturbo pumping out 577 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The projected time to 60 mph is at 3.7 seconds and top speed which is electronically controlled to 186 mph. Those numbers would translate to a quicker launch to 60mph and a higher top end than the Porsche Carrera S!
Putting all this power to the ground would be the job of MB’s 4matic system. Mercedes says the S63 application of the 4Matic will send 67 percent of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels allowing the car to feel, for the most part, like a rear drive car but also providing the grip in low traction conditions.
Looks aren’t just skin deep Mercedes packed the S63 with technology and safety features.

The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe did it again collecting another award. This time it was named one of Ward’s 10 Best Interiors.
COSTA MESA, Calif., April 15, 2013 – The all-new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport’s upscale and highly-functional interior was acknowledged by the editors of WardsAuto, which named it to this year’s Ward’s 10 Best Interiors list. This recognition follows the 2012 Accent and 2012 Azera being named to the list last year.
“The latest version of the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is the essence of a midsize family CUV: well-crafted, tastefully appointed and affordable, despite a decidedly upscale look and feel,” said Tom Murphy, executive editor, WardsAuto. “Hyundai is consistently delivering excellent interiors that reinforce the brand’s ‘Fluidic Sculpture’ design language.”
“The all-new Santa Fe Sport offers buyers a comfortable, functional and modern-looking interior,” said Christopher Chapman, chief designer, Hyundai Design North America. “Designed with families in mind, the interior features quality materials, intuitive controls and a spacious layout for the diverse needs of today’s active families.”
“The instrument panel is defined by its sculptural center vents from which the flowing form develops,” said Christopher Zarlenga, design manager of Santa Fe’s interior. “Color is also an important differentiator for the interior, emphasizing the wing shape outward from the center stack through the doors.”
During the selection process editors pay close attention to fit-and-finish, checking to see if seams are straight and match up cleanly on armrests and instrument panels. Editors climb in and out of back seats and third rows in larger CUVs and SUVs to check overall comfort levels, headroom and legroom. Another increasingly important category is driver information. Bluetooth® phone links are commonplace, so editors connect their smartphones and experiment with voice-activation systems.
Santa Fe Sport features a flowing interior look, designed for passenger functionality and comfort. From the heated rear seats and available eight-way power driver seat, to a standard 40:20:40 folding-rear seat back, the vehicle boasts flexibility and a comfortable cabin for all passengers. Also standard on all Santa Fe models with cloth seating is a YES Essentials® seat fabric treatment that provides soil-resistant, anti-odor and anti-static properties for added longevity and livability. Special care and attention went into other interior details, such as an optional panoramic sunroof, which allows more natural light into the cabin, and premium window switch trim. Available on 2.4-liter models and standard on Turbo models is a push-button starter with proximity key and an electrochromatic gauge cluster color LCD screen. A heated steering wheel and sliding second row seats are optional first-class touches on Santa Fe Sport.
The 2013 interior winners will be honored during the WardsAuto Interiors Conference on May 22 at The Henry hotel in Dearborn, Mich. An extensive package profiling the winners is available on WardsAuto.com and in the May issue of WardsAuto Worldmagazine.
